Tide Pooling

If you want an idea of how cool (read: nerdy) your science teacher is, I even do cool sciency things when I’m on vacation.  Here is a picture of me with some starfish we found while tide pooling at Cannon Beach, OR.  You can also see barnacles, muscles and closed sea anemones.  If you don’t know what tide pooling is, it’s when you go to a relatively rocky part of a beach at low tide and look at all the sea life that is left in the pools between the rocks.  It’s really cool.
