Today I went to a class at the Hatfield Marine Science Center on animal adaptation. They showed us a sea star, a live sand dollar, a sea urchin, a muscle, some shrimp, a barnacle and some clams. I learned some new stuff for class and got to touch some pretty cool animals. My wife even picked up a sea star. They explained how each animal was adapted to the part of the coast where it lived. They center was very neat and there were scientists doing live research there, pretty neat.
