  1. Nothing came up to put the notes in so I’m just going to put them here. Eukaryotic cells share many characteristics. First they have a cytoskeleton, which had many functions. It supports and shapes the cell, helps position and transport organelles, provides strength, assists in cell division, and aids in cell movement. The nucleus stores genetic information. Many processes occur in the endoplasmic reticulum. Two types of ER, smooth and rough. Ribosomes link amino acids to form proteins. Mitochondria supply energy to the cell. A cell wall provides rigid support.
