This week was pretty fun in 12th grade, we started it by dissecting hearts and finished it by examining our pulse and blood pressure. The dissections were pretty interesting, some students noticed it looked like roast beef so we had a discussion about when we eat animals we’re eating their muscles and the heart is a large muscle so it makes sense. Tenth grade went outside on Wednesday to step off a geologic timeline and saw how if the history of the earth was a football field, humans would come around in the last 1.5 inches. They also did a lab on radioactive dating where they made a licorice stick decay by eating it. The 7th graders finished their chapter on cold-blooded animals and began learning about warm-blooded ones. I had fun this week, hopefully they did.
