Hi all, we had another short week here at Kearney Catholic. The boys made it to state as well. Not much really exciting happened in class this week, the 7th graders learned about mammals, the sophomores learned about food webs and nutrient cycles and the seniors learned about the lymphatic system. However there were some neat things outside of class. Monday we had a speaker come and talk about bullying and a bit about autism. He was really good and hopefully the students got something out of it. Then last night Megan and I went to a presentation by Jane Goodall. I’d never heard her speak so it was really interesting. Her talk was funny, insightful, inspiring, and just the right amount of political. She has lead quite an interesting life mostly because of how supportive her mother was when she was a child. Even though it was a short school week, it was a good week.
