Monday was pretty quite without Juniors or Seniors in the building but the rest of us still had fun. The 7th graders finished our unit on ecology and took a test today. The 10th graders started learning about behavior by learning about learning; it was an interesting conversation and one they could relate to well. The seniors started the respiratory system. Probably the funniest thing we did in class this week was test our lung capacity by filling up balloons in one breath. It was sometimes surprising who had the largest lung capacity. I’m also slightly afraid of balloons so I’m not sure what is going to happen to them. The last interesting thing happened this week was a student’s parents brought in and donated a fish tank to my classroom. It is huge and has some fish the size of my had in it. I’ll try to get some pictures next week because most of the fish are hiding today. Trap is going well and I’m really enjoying coaching. I’ll end with one thought: It’s nearly April?
