Homecoming 2017

This week was homecoming here at Kearney Catholic. It’s always an interesting week.  The seniors start by decorating their lounge complete with couches and TVs. Each day we have different dress up themes that some of the classes really get into. There are also a variety of events throughout the evenings culminating with tonight’s football game and coronation. The students are always super pumped about this week but we do manage to learn a bit. This week we’ve been learning about Mendel and genetics in life science, rate laws in chem, muscles in advanced bio, and photosynthesis/cellular respiration in bio. On a personal note we went to a wedding in Omaha last weekend and decided to go to Vala’s Pumpkin Patch on the way back. It was loads of fun, we shot apples at targets and wandered around for awhile before buying guards and pumpkins.
