Starting Dissections

This has a neat week here at Kearney Catholic. We started dissections today in 7th grade with grasshoppers. We’ll continue next week with starfish. The sophomores are still in evolution but we’ve moved past Darwin into what we’ve learned since. The Advanced students are learning about the skin and the Organic Chem group learned alkenes and alkynes. At home Ollie is still a bit of a handful and he goes to daycare until we believe his bladder is strong enough, so it’s been fun taking him there each morning. Yesterday we had the day off, not because of snow but because our sprinkler system broke; it was not a great thing to come back to today. My room was okay but it was very bad for those teachers it impacted.
