Have a heart

We opened this week with heart dissections in advanced biology! Sorry I forgot to take pictures, I know you’d have love to see them. That’s always a fun day and a couple other teachers came to check it out as well. We also did a lab experimenting on changes in blood pressure and practiced using a sphygmomanometer. The sophomores had their retreat Tuesday but otherwise learned about learning and animal behaviors this week. In 7th we’re finishing up the birds and mammals chapter and in chem II we looking more at benzene, how it reacts and how to name derivatives of it. This is our last full week for awhile which will be nice on the home front. Ollie is still fighting with Charlie a lot and is approaching the same height as Charlie so their roughhousing is a little rougher. Hopefully they settle down sometime soon. See you all next week.
