Pig week!

The biggest thing we did this week in my class was dissect fetal pigs. We spent 4 days dissecting them and looked at their digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular, urinary, and nervous systems. It’s a fun lab and really helps wrap up the year in advanced bio. The 7th graders have started the human body and the 10th graders finished bird, reptile, and mammals so they’ll start on the human body on Monday. In chem we’re doing a few wrap up labs, some have worked better then others. Today we did a TLC lab, something I have never gotten to work well. This year was similar and the results are not the best. April is wrapping up and we start our first of three state shoots with the 4H state meet on Sunday.
